Bottled by the whisky baron after maturing for 13 years in Fresh Vosne Romanee Barrique
Nose: A sweet fresh fruit shop of aromas on the nose, a slightly oily woody note comes in with a touch of salt and sweet cooked meats some damp forest floor notes glazed sweet cherries round this incredible nose off to perfection.
Palate: A total mouth coating rich palate with some sweet barbecue notes coming through, so many flavours arrive to coat your mouth with rich fruit like apples, orange lemon and strawberry coffee beans some balance with cloves ahead of some classic smoke and peat we expect from a good Islay.
The final round on the palate has some summer floral notes more smoke and peat with spices and dry oak with dark berries and a touch of vanilla pod
