This Original Dark Rum is a marriage of Jamaican and Barbados aged rums, a final maturation in France adds to the rich and intense flavour profile of this taste driven dark rum. 

Fermentation: Barbados : 72 hours Jamaica 

Distillation: Barbados twin Column and Pot Stills

Distillation: Jamaican Pot Still (John Dore)

Nose : The nose is a nice rich mix of complexity and traditional rum notes, with dark ripe fruits and lots of rich spices, hints of clove, cherry pie and caramel, some dark cracked peppercorns, fresh cut oak, some Darjeeling tea leaves, hints tropical fruits.   

Palate : The opening notes of fruit fill the palate, with a hint of dry fruits into the mix the palate is a real taste journey, vine fruits, soft peach and dried citrus, the sweet fruits of pineapple and red / green grapes fill the mid palate, with a spicy and softly mineral note at the start of the finish, lingering rich fruits like dates and damsons make a quick appearance, smooth, spicy and rounded.
