Mars Malt Duo Komagatake X Chichibu the perfect combination bottled at 54% vol 

This is a unique marriage between two great distilleries with the distillates from 2015 resting in American white oak and sherry casks until the marriage in the casks was ready to bottle for us to enjoy. 

Nose: A soft spice with fresh cut herbs and summer fruits with a hint of vanilla pod start to soften this incredible nose out. Add into the mix some chocolate and caramel this dram is very tempting indeed.  

Palate: Melon and maple syrup, orchard fruits like ripe red and green apples with a hint of soft sweet peppers and golden honeycomb. Let this dram open a little longer then the added bonus of subtle sweet chilly and almonds come into play, some fresh cut pine and oak sap with a deliciously balanced finish. 

This is a perfect partnership in the cask and on the palate.
