Die am Ufer des Flusses Tay in den schottischen Highlands erbaute Aberfeldy Distillery produziert einen ungewöhnlich honigsüßen und delikaten Whisky. Es ist seit 1898 in Betrieb und produziert Whisky für Dewar's Blend.
Der 12-Jährige ist eine interessante Abkehr von bekannteren Speyside- und Highland-Malts.
Nase: Bietet einen genussvollen Schluck mit Noten von Wildblumenhonig, einigen sanften Gewürzen und dunklen Früchten.
Gaumen: Reichhaltige herbstliche Obstgartenfrüchte und weiche Vanille-Hochlandtablette und Vanilleeis. Nur ein letzter Schwung mit einer Prise süßem, weichem Rauch.
