Tobermory 28 Year Old 1994 Chapter 7 - 52% ABV
A wonderful bottling here by the team at Chapter 7 of this wonderful Mull-based single malt distillery. Tobermory is known to shine with age, and this is no exception. Just 253 bottles of this single bourbon hogshead have been released, and it’s bursting with delicious crisp orchard fruit notes. A fabulous island dram!
Tasting note:
Nose: Like a delicious breakfast, there’s buttery baguette and muesli in with honey, pear, apple and a warm maltiness.
Palate: The apple gets juiced on the creamy palate, with rose-like florals, caramel, cinnamon and cream soda arriving later.
Finish: Medium length with a slightly green herbal quality.
