House of Hazelwood The Tops – Legacy Collection 51.6% ABV 

A strikingly rich malt whisky from the House of Hazelwood team. The Tops is decadently indulgent, heavily sherried, and unapologetically bold. Every blender will have malts in their stocks that they consider ‘the tops’ - whiskies that are eked out over time. This is a combination of House of Hazelwood’s ‘tops’, precious whiskies from the Gordon family’s own reserves, aged for a minimum of 33 years. The release is limited to just 523 bottles.  

Tasting note: 

Nose: Treacle, toffee, deep coffee notes, marzipan, maraschino cherries, dark chocolate, forest floor and subtle floras.  

Palate: A texture that’s almost sticky holds dark fruit sweetness, more caramel, toasted citrus peels, nutmeg and liquorice. 

Finish: Long and warming, with hints of sherbet.
