Nose: Spiced pineapple and ripe banana with what seems like a subtle sweet smoke, a definite sweetness flows in to the nose with a sweet peach and gala melon, creamy notes that are really nice to discover. Almost the nose of an expression that is much older!.
Palate: If I could say simply delicious I would, however its my job to dig in deeper….. Sweet and uplifting on the front and mid palate, creamy yet tangy at the same time, some citrus and dry spice, soft fruits like peach and apricots with honey, some sweet popcorn and cinnamon buns, warming and a rather long finish you can still taste a few minutes after finishing.
If this dram had one issue it would be the fact its too easy to drink and enjoy.
Its nice to discover a great tasting dram you might have overlooked. This is a real taste treat.
