Sazerac Rye 6 Year Old 45% - 70cl
Named after a coffee house in New Orleans that served the Sazerac Cocktail during Prohibition. The cocktail was originally made with Cognac and bitters, however in time the recipe switched to a Kentucky rye whiskey, due to the shortage of Cognac at the time.
Nose: Smooth and rounded on the whole with a rich aromatic aroma of vanilla and soft spices. Caramel and soft fruits.
Palate: Opens with a rich spice that builds on the palate, this is balanced out with a creamy soft caramel and honey with a deliciously indulgent vanilla.
