Distilled back in March 2008, it was finished in a first-fill Lagrima Red Port Barrique. The results are elegantly expressive, with all manner of red fruit, cherry and honey notes in with that signature Pulteney sea breeze element. A cask-strength, natural colour, non-chill-filtered treat, with just 281 bottles released.

Nose: Coastal salted caramel, honeyed malt, red berries and polished oak
Palate: Syrupy red cherry, grape molasses, brine, beeswax, chocolate and spice
Finish: Salted chocolate, vanilla, gentle spice, lingering maritime oak
