Metaxa 7 Star Brandy 40% ABV
Metaxa is always a treat, and this 7 Star bottling is no different. A Greek brandy made using Mediterranean botanicals and aromatic Samos Muscat wine, it’s like nothing else – and it’s both wonderfully mixable and sippable. This expression has been aged for up to seven years.
Tasting note:
Nose: Light and citrusy with rose-like florals, it deepens with time as black pepper and a nuttiness come through.
Palate: A veritable fruit basket! Apricot and plum notes are bathed in honey, with a biscuity element, too.
Finish: Long with lots more rose and drying black pepper.
