Martell VS 40% ABV
A wonderful VS Cognac here from renowned producer Martell. It’s made using clear wines – no lees have been included in the distillation process at all. The result? A silky smooth, fruit-forward expression that’s as delicious neat, over ice, or in a cocktail! We think it works particularly well in a Sidecar.
Nose: Loads of plums and apricots, with fresh orange peel, subtle florals and candied lemon peels. There’s a touch of cinnamon, too.
Palate: Smooth and soft, there’s an array of orchard fruit notes, along with marzipan and raisins. A slight gentle oakiness comes through later.
Finish: Medium length and gentle, with more lustrous fruit notes.
