Nose: The nose has taken on a lot of the charred character of the cask, with a whiff of sweet smoke, citrus and light notes of watermelon, candied fruits, and a soft vanilla pod aroma.
Palate: Chocolate and soft nutty notes, with golden honeycomb biscuits, a touch of shortbread and toasted oaky notes, with a lingering smoke underpinning the palate perfectly, with a long and lingering finish with a touch of oak and sweet nutty edges.
