Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 15 56.5%

This batch was matured in Ex Bourbon barrels for its full 10 years maturation, bottled at cask strength. 

Nose: Fresh cut oak and soft spices, hints of shortbread and honey, some earthy woody notes, ground black peppers, cinnamon and peach, polished oak and leather, toasted cereals and sweet spices. 

Palate: Rich and spicy notes on the front of the palate, hints of vanilla pod and dark honey, tangy sea salt and rich toffee, some sweet spices like cinnamon arrive in the mid palate, some citrus lemon, tobacco leaf, with a great tone of smoke and peat that is nicely  balanced across the whole palate, with a long and rich finish of sea salt and smoke with a tangy note that lingers.
