Jura 30 Year Old 1992 W&M Traditional Oak #834-835

This is a superb tasting Jura with a great balance that's not been overwhelmed by the cask, the richness of the malt is perfectly balanced.

Nose: Green apples and soft grape notes, soft baked cereal bars, lemon and lime fondant icing, banana bread and soft chewy toffee, soft spices and a little hint of beeswax, a light coastal aroma, farmhouse bread and salted butter. 

Palate: Fruity with some herbal notes including a deliciously balanced spiced apple and toasted waffles, some rich waxiness with Jasmine tea, pepper and soft cereal, quince and very subtle lemongrass, ripe banana, a nice tannic flavour that balances out the rich fruity herbal notes across the lingering finish.
