Green Spot Chateau Montelena
Green Spot Montelena has initially been matured in traditional sherry and bourbon casks, then finished for 12 months in French oak Zinfandel wine casks from the prestigious Chateau Montelena in Napa Valley, California.
Nose: Lots of rich creamy vanilla and white chocolate, some rich orchard fruits mingle in to the nose, the wine cask shows up with lots of berries and cherries, some honey and a soft sweet spice, a golden crisp apple note and a return of soft whipped vanilla.
Taste: Very elegant and creamy on the front of the palate, Soft honey and red berries add a great depth to the flavour as we head into the mid palate with a rich and full bodied balance of orchard fruits and hints of almond, the classic smooth palate of Green spot is always present from the nose to the nice balance on the finish.
