Matured in ex American bourbon casks and rich Portuguese port wine casks.
Nose: From the start the aromas from the glass are very captivating, with dark and rich fruits, some dark toffee and rich orange dark chocolate, some toasted oak and hints of tobacco leaf, soft leather, black cherries.
Palate: A nice mix of freshness and dark fruits opening the palate, with a touch of soft peppermint and candied orange peel, some ripe and juicy grapes, touches of black pepper, creamy notes of strawberry cheesecake, dark chocolate truffles, some peach and light honey adding a nice lingering richness to the finish.
