A classic Burgundy from the Nuits-Saint-Geroges appellation. Matured in barrel for 12 to 15 months, there's plenty of cherry and blackberry on the nose with cedar and a little gaminess. The palate is balanced with structure and softness and there's a rich fruitiness on the finish with gentle spice.
2017 was a good year in Burgundy and whilst this wine could be cellared for another 15 years, it's also great to drink now and the ideal size for pairing with a course in a special meal.
