Craigellachie 13-Year-Old Armagnac Cask Finish 46% 70cl 

A wonderful expression from robust Speyside distillery Craigellachie! There’s all manner of deliciously sulphury richness here, plus a floral sweetness from the Bas Armagnac barrels! A must-taste to see the iconic single malt in a new light.

Nose: Rich with superb fruity notes of nectarine, crisp toffee and cereal bars, robust sweet, spiced orange peel, a little hint of cigar box cedar lining and soft tobacco leaves.   

Palate: A sweet hint of smoke, some aromatic oils and golden honeycomb covered in dark cocoa, hints of black and pink peppercorns, vanilla and rich toffee, some almond and sweet Scottish tablet, some spiced fruit and shortbread.  

Finish: Long and waxy with lingering sweetness.
