Entirely matured in an Oloroso sherry butt for twenty-five years
Nose: Lots of superb and rich sherry cask influence, candied orange and sweet sliced peaches and mango's, with the richness of tropical fruits and that classic Islay aroma coming together, some sweet springtime floral notes, a touch of vanilla and cracked pepper.
Palate: Very rich and fruity with an abundance of tropical fruits, some dry spices and oily waxiness, a little hint of parchment and apple, soft salty tang with salt water taffy, a long and substantial mid palate, malt loaf and salted toffee with a dark chocolate nib flavour, red velvet sponge and gentle peat.
A nice and superbly rich fruity finish with a coastal twist.
