Nose: Waxy with rich candied orange peel, some straw and hessian, hints of sap and barley sugar twist candy.
Palate: This is a superbly rich tasting single malt, lots of the rich waxy notes from the nose flow through to the palate, the candied orange is joined by soft creamy lemon drizzle cake hints of soft rich toffee, smooth and sweet spices glide across the palate, with a rich smooth finish that keeps a sweet and rich waxiness that keeps you wanting just one more sip.
