A brilliant Auchroisk single malt release from celebrated independent bottler Woodrow’s of Edinburgh. The Speyside distillery is known for its rich, nutty profile and that shines through here. Distilled in 2016, it was initially aged in a refill hogshead, before a finishing period in both first-fill American and European oak Pedro Ximénez quarter casks. Just 312 bottles have been released, at a cask strength of 53.2% ABV. Tasty stuff.
