A gloriously easy sipping whisky from the award-winning Scotland-based whisky blender that is Woven! Experience No. 11 perfectly embodies the Woven vision: to mix possibilities, and ultimately bring people together. And focusing on the flavour and experience of a blend, rather than the whiskies that make up its component parts. This one is said to be “somewhere between vivid and evocative”. We agree.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Super fresh – like the air on a sunny day. There’s aromatic orchard fruit along with cherry blossom and a hint of sweet spices.
Palate: The fruits get a little riper jammier, with apricot and peach in particular coming through. The gentle spices are still there, too.
Finish: Medium length and somehow bringing an optimism with its sunshine fruits.
