Tomatin 1997 / Malts of Scotland / 52.4% / 70cl
Nose: Very rich and fruity, some dry spices and currants, hints of sweet strawberry and tanning, more spice and dark fruity tone seem to mix in very well on the nose.
Palate: Sweet vanilla, damson jam, some traces of chocolate coated strawberry with a little black pepper, fruit cake and with surprise note of banana, Candied citrus and a sweet delicate floral note, finishing off with a rich dark summer fruit and soft spices.
A great little wine cask vintage.
