Springbank 15 Year Old  46% - 70cl 2.5 Times distilled Matured in Sherry Casks. 

Its hard not to write about this dram with-out it sounding like you are obsessed, for some of us it was the dram that clicked on our journey to enjoying a good single malt. So lets try to write about it with-out the admiration! 

Nose: Sweet and rich with a lot of dark autumnal fruits, damson jam and strawberry and dark chocolate, Turkish delight with a dusting of dried strawberries, barbeque meats with a hint of charred edges, some dried spices add a little subtle undertone. 

Palate: A superb palate would be the easiest thing to write! Some sweet dark fruits and a subtle peat and sweet smoke add a warming note, crushed black pepper and red berries counter balance each other, coastal rich and soft hazelnuts, more dark coca nibs, orange marmalade and cinnamon toast. 

A stunning after dinner dram to savour and truly enjoy.
