George and JG Smiths Glenlivet Single Malt Whisky is one of the rare vintage single malts bottled by Scotlands most famous independent bottlers G&M
Nose: Sweet dark fruits form an abundance of sherry notes that flow from the nose with ease. Winter Fruit cake with orange segments and chocolate whipped cream. Adding a drop of water if needed will unfold a touch of spice and dates.
Palate: Following on from the nose we find the richness of sherry cask notes from the start. A dash of sweet autumn fruits and soft milk chocolate, dry spice with a hint of honey and vanilla pod. Turkish delight with hints of pineapple and soft malt loaf with a final flourish of maple syrup and almonds.
This is a great vintage with an abundance of taste that just keeps on going right to the elegant finish.
