Nose: With a little surprise on the nose this Rum has some hidden secrets but nothing you wont enjoy because the ABV is not in charge in anyway. A sign of a good rum. Sweet rich oak and honey spices, melon and pears, ripe banana and vanilla with a touch of dates and dried strawberries.
Palate: The palate is much more taste forward with or with-out water Tangy sweetness on the front of the palate, some ripe tangy dark fruits and soft crushed pink pepper, candied orange and oak spice, dry wine like notes, hints of charred oak and oils. After a short time a melon and black pepper note take this dram to a full mouth coating finish that mellows out with time.
