Royal Brackla 14 Year Old / 2007 / Berry Bros & Rudd / #03086 / 50.6% / 70cl

Matured in Hogshead Oak cask for 12 Years then moved into Pedro Ximenez sherry cask butt.

Nose: Sweet spices and dark fruits, some cinnamon and pears with a little hard toffee and figs with a light syrup. Dried fruits and sweet melon add another layer to the aroma.

Palate: The sherry cask flows into the palate, some dried dark berries, hints of dark toffee and golden honeycomb give a mix of dark and light flavours across the mid palate, More sherry notes come into play, Dates and Damsons as we head towards a rich fruity finish of sweet apples, grapes and melon, cinnamon and all spice.

Good for the holidays but even better anytime of the year as an after dinner chill and relax malt.
