This distillery was established in 1817 producing a quality grain whisky for the market, this distillery was closed in 2010 with all production moved to Cameronbridge.
Nose: sweet and fruity with hints of dark berries and honey with hints spring blossom.
Palate: A perfect balance between the woods as creamy notes marry in with a rich sherry note of autumnal orchard fruits, hints of rich chocolate and spices.
This is a great smooth dram with no sharpness even at cask strength.
