Nose: A little different for an Islay with a superb hint of lemon sorbet, some soft toasted caramel popcorn, some coastal richness comes into play, iodine and soft sweet smoke edges.
Palate: Its another twist on the front of the palate like the nose as lemon meringue and hints of vanilla open the front of the palate, candied orange peel, some spent matches and hints of bonfire and spiced apple arrive mid palate, the rich Islay smoke is always here working its magic as it leads us to a lingering finish of dark citrus and springtime cut grass and soft barbecued fruits.
