Nose: Some nice and recognisable aromas flow this Orkney single malt, with touches of heather and honey, some sweet coastal aromas like sea grass, toasted oak, toffee coated cereal, creamy vanilla and spices running along the aromas, with a touch of almond paste and digestive biscuits.
Palate: From the first sip this dram is leading the palate with a rich creamy and tangy richness, some soft honey and sweet melon, touches of sweet chilly adding to a moment or two of palate warming coastal notes, salted caramel, hints of burnt toast and marmalade, sweet citrus and salty notes working side by side to bring a lingering and balanced taste through-out
