Its outturn is quite staggering with over 2 billion litres of spirit coming off the stills by 2015 consider the outturn of the average distillery being a few million litres you can see the scale of the operation.

The quality and consistency of the distillate is always very high with some amazing vintages over the years.

Nose: Some early signs of caramel and spices come to the front of the nose, a little creamy vanilla and crisp wafer, soft latte notes with hints of cinnamon.

Palate: An opening salvo of caramel sauce over fresh corned Cornish ice cream, white chocolate covered raisins and almonds. Some soft nutty notes, apricots and mashed banana add in a superb fruity note. A great full bodied finish with a hint of cherry blossom wraps this grain up nicely.
