This is Macallan's third collaboration with legendary British artist Sir Peter Blake, 'An Estate, A Community And A Distillery' commemorates the artist's visit to the estate with a unique whisky created for the occasion. The label has been designed digitally by Sir Peter and depicts some of the distillery's characters from its history in a signature pop art collage.
Nose: Rich with some red and dark dried fruits, a touch of allspice and candied orange, with and dark chocolate and strawberry, with hints of clove rounding off the aromatic nose.
Palate: Smooth and lingering richness on the front of the palate, Dried fruits like dates and raisins with cracked black pepper and treacle, orange and cocoa nibs creamy vanilla and soft honey and lingering smooth notes fill the palate, with sweet baking spices and candied citrus peel to round off the late palate.
