This cask strength Speymalt (Macallan) is a taste driven dram.
Nose: A power house extremely rich and full bodied when from the moment you open the bottle, soft leather aromas, hints of damson, sweet dates and soft vanilla pod, dark chocolate and honey, spices and hints of fresh rolling tobacco leaf.
Palate: The opening of the palate is rounded and smooth even at cask strength, it's best to let it breath or add a drop or two of water at room temperature, dark fruits and hints of fresh crushed strawberry, hints dark cocoa nibs and runny toffee, mellow creamy fruits and spice in the medium to long finish.
