Distilled on 15th May 2000 Aged in ex Sherry Hogshead cask No 1755 Bottled December 2009 as a single cask for Van Wees a spirits merchant.
Nose: Some sweet and dry aromas start as soon as you pour the dram out. Red grape skins, soft leather and crushed pink pepper corns, dried sultana and hints of light cocoa.
Palate: A rich smooth and fruity palate, not overly sweet just nicely balanced, winter berries and a hint of cinnamon, rich ruby chocolate and soft fruit cake, poached apricots and crisp toasted grain, some leather and waxy notes adding to the rich finish of this iconic single malt.
