Loch Lomond Peated is made exclusively from heavily peated malted barley in the malt room at the Loch Lomond Distillery.
This single malt is matured in a combination of first and refill bourbon casks which delivers a soft fruity character with creamy vanilla and wisps of smoke.
Nose: Some sweet dark fruits like blackberry, with a spiced note with cloves, honey and vanilla with a little blackcurrant preserve.
Palate: The palate opens with a sweet tangy peat, orchard fruits, green apple, lime citrus and aniseed. Crispy dry finish with distant peat smoke.
