Nose: Rich aromatic smooth notes, with a sweet spice and hints of honey, with some rather nice berries and treacle, pears and apple with a nutty edge draw you in.
Palate: More of the spices from the nose arrive on the palate but with a very nicely structured fruit and vanilla note, apple turnovers, whipped cream, chocolate and golden honeycomb Oak spice, clove and star anise, redcurrant, raspberry, some soft notes of wood smoke and fresh baked ginger biscuits
