Laphroaig 34-Year-Old Ian Hunter Book IV 46.2% 70cl

Nose: Rich orchard fruits and distant peat smoke, candied fruits with a touch of pepper, hay bales and tobacco leaf, an aromatic delight with some soft chocolate notes, with sweet toffee and baking spices with runny honey.

Palate: A rich and bodied palate with some rich candied orange and soft earthy notes on the front of the palate, sweet notes of honey and ripe peaches, those rich Islay flavours of iodine and smoke are ever present along with some smouldering barbeque flavours, with the finish of smoke peat and rich dark fruit underpinning a fantastic ashy note.
