Nose: Summer time in the garden with fresh strawberries and honey glazed buns, some sweet spices like cinnamon, chocolate and Malt loaf add to the nose of this very nice single malt.
Palate: A classic sherry note from the start, but this is also much more than just a sherry cask note. Creamy soft orange fondant with glazed candied peel. Tropical soft sweet fruits like pineapple or pomegranate. Fresh apple strudel or fruit cake with a cream dressing and a touch of strawberry.
Some nutty tones, rich spices with a hint of melon and apricots, soft baked sponge fingers.
