Nose: Floral and spicy from the start. Ripe pears and sweet plumbs, baked buttery biscuits with raisins and sultana, treacle toffee with smoke and iodine.
Palate: The influence of the sherry cask shines through on the palate. Soft red fruits with hints of golden honey and soft rich vanilla, chocolate and dried dates. The smoke and peat flows in and around every aspect of the palate with the classic medicinal iodine notes of any good Islay.
