Nose: Sweet dry with hints of oily and toasted oak, sliced lime and candied orange, a pungent yet smooth mid tone on the nose, soft oak and hints of peppers and sweet spices.
Palate: Dark fruits, rich ginger and bergamot hits the roof of the palate to add more to the nose than the palate for a moment, soft fruits and rich oily notes on the mid palate, allowing this rum to open or adding a drop or 3 of water at room temperature opens a rich fruit cake and dried dates, hints of kiwi and dark chocolate.
