Glenfarclas 53 Year Old 42.1% Vol - 70cl Single Cask Vintage Single Malt

Nose: Some rich fruit cake and soft treacle, sweet sherry notes, damson and strawberry tart, Victoria sponge cake, malt loaf and dark chocolate, sweet spices, truffles with honey, tobacco leaf with some sweet charred oak. 

Palate: Extremely smooth and elegant opening on the palate, Damson, Fig, Candied orange, hints of sweet lemon sorbet adding a fresh and mellow tone, lots of rich fruit cake notes, sweet spices, ginger and honey, some subtle sweet smoke makes an appearance on the later end of the palate. Hints of ground coffee beans, vanilla pod and red velvet. 

With a long and smooth finish this rare aged single malt has a lasting effect on the palate.
