A vibrant Glenburgie release from independent bottler That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Speyside distillery Glenburgie is usually reserved for blends, so it’s unusual to see a named release. Aged meticulously for 27 years in a single hogshead, this expression is part of TBWC’s Cinema Series of movie-inspired whiskies. One of just 385 bottles.
Tasting note:
Nose: Fresh, bold and sweet with milk chocolate notes, plus coconut, pineapple, banana, and a subtle herbaceousness.
Palate: Fruit salad zest with creamy vanilla, gentle cinnamon, nectarines, coconut and a pinch of black pepper.
Finish: Medium length with spicy hints.
