Glen Spey 32 Year Old 1989 Whisky Sponge Edition No.80 60% ABV
A bottling of 1989 spirit from the lesser seen Glen Spey Distillery. This expression was matured in a single refill hogshead, but fascinatingly actually increased ABV in-cask. The result? The whisky reached 65% ABV (reduced to a more ‘approachable’ 60%), but yielded just 114 bottles. It must have been a warm warehouse!
