Nose: Smooth fruity nose starts off with a touch of dark fruit with a hint of tangy citrus and spices, a little minty at times, fresh soft fruit sponge with a dash of soft toffee fudge.
Palate: More of that citrus from the nose arrives on the palate, very nice candied orange peel, barley sugar twists with a hint of dates and spiced fruit cake.
A big rounded mid palate of dark fruits like dates, prunes in syrup and fresh blackberries, whipped fudge and vanilla pods, raisins and chocolate. The finish is a great mix of the nose to mid palate with the addition of robust sweet spiced fruit buns and a dash of caramel sauce.
