An old and smooth Speyside malt, of the kind that always benefits from unhurried maturation in refill bourbon casks to let the spirit shine.  

Nose: The cask has laid down some superb aromas, soft honey, hints of vanilla and gentle ginger notes, sweet and fruity from the opening of the bottle into the glass, spiced oak, and a hint of polished maple wood.  

Palate: What a great opening on the palate, it makes you take stock and relax, with a rich and abundant fruitiness across the palate of dried candied banana, crisp sweet apples, and a soft tangy mineral note, passion fruit cheesecake, soft honey, and a little peppery spice, with a lingering fruity finish that includes some nice springtime floral notes, soft fresh spices and citrus.
