This vintage is one of the old school slightly smoky styles from 1988
Nose: A very rich nose of ripe juicy peaches, candied orange peel toffee and soft vanilla, Some very subtle smoke and treacle
Palate: With a mouthcoating sweet fruit and a soft herbal note from the start, with a whole lot more orchard fruits, then a rich honey, some soft smoke and pears before a rich elegant finish starts with a warming delightful hint of smoke, spices and creamy fondant notes that mingle so well with the smoke notes.
