This gem is triple distilled at the shed distillery company in Co Leitrim, its been matured in ex-Oloroso sherry and ex-Kentucky Bourbon casks made up with malted and un-malted Irish barley and Barra oats
A soft yet rich tangy dram has a lot going on that catches our palates in a great way.
Nose: spiced fruit and vanilla, some soft golden honey notes with a delicate fresh grape and apple juice.
Palate: The Sherry cask has a good influence on the palate of red fruits and crushed almonds, a textured mid palate of vanilla and oloroso are so integrated its rather impressive.
This dram is a great addition to any collection but don‚t collect it drink it and enjoy you won't be disappointed.
