Dailuaine 25 Year Old 1997 Wilson & Morgan 53% ABV

A regal bottling of one of Speyside’s most fascinating single malts. Released by independent bottler Wilson & Morgan, the expression has spent its final 27 months in second-fill Pedro Ximénez casks. The result is a richly textured, luscious dram that exudes decadence. A total of 489 bottles have been released.

Tasting note:

Nose: Winey, resinous and intense, with dried fruits backed by a mineral quality and aromatic, almost incense-like woods.

Palate: An abundance of richness, with grapes, tropical fruits, honey and even pine resin gliding over plump crème brûlée notes.

Finish: Long and winding with warming spicy tannins.
