DAILUAINE 1997 WHISKY SPONGE EDITION NO.64

Nose: Some stunning richness we know and love with a good speysider, shortbread and vanilla running alongside a sweet, spiced tone, some pineapple and ripe pears, galia melon stones and peach, subtle honey vanilla and ginger, sweet floral notes like springtime blossom, tangy and sweet aromas.

Palate: Smooth and creamy, soft summer fruits, some light golden honey, sweet vanilla and peach, creamy flaked coconuts, Dutch pancakes with a soft maple syrup and vanilla ice cream, as we head into the mid palate a rich and tasty waxiness opens up, the richness of this palate is quite something, with lingering rich mineral and citrus, some soft orange and melon with a lingering smooth finish.

This Dailuaine is a real taste treat.
