The Spice Tree is a blended highland malt whisky aged in casks fitted with heads made of new French oak, giving the whisky a unique, spicy character.
Nose: Spiced by name and definitely spiced on the nose, some tangy orange and apricots, nutmeg and damsons, tobacco leaf, pink and black cracked pepper, soft baked gingerbread loaf.
Palate: A bold and tasty opening on the palate, the nutmeg and cinnamon, poached pears and dark malt loaf, Demerara Expect a boldly flavoured whisky with notes of gingerbread, peppercorns, rounded and flavoursome right to the end.
